Twitter Reacts To The Bachelorette’s Fantasy Suite Episode SUBSCRIBE: https://youtu.be/xsXMP6qQv-w : On July 15th, 2019, we finally saw the long awaited Fantasy Suite Episode of The Bachelorette, and it did not disappoint. Hannah and her final four; Luke P., Tyler C., Peter, and Jed; went to Greece to see if the sparks would fly. And once there they stayed in a windmill?
Going into the adventure, Hannah made it clear that she had something else on her mind besides hanky panky.
“I really could see myself being ready for an engagement with any of the four men here. It has been a long time since I have been physical at all with a man. But Fantasy Suite week is not about sex. It’s to have the time and a real, raw way without cameras to see where my feelings are truly, and find out who I want to be with for the rest of my life.”
And how did that real, raw time together go for Hannah and Peter?
Well, okay then! Guess there’s just something special about staying in a windmill!
Audience favorite Tyler C., on the other hand, didn’t need the full windmill to know that Hannah was the one for him. A boat was good enough.
So fans hoping Hannah and Tyler C. would create their own sustainable energy inside the windmill were left disappointed. Hannah told Tyler,
“I don’t want to go into the Fantasy Suite and have sex, because I don’t feel like that’s what our relationship needs. It would be very easy for me to want to do that. I think we have to explore just being together and continue our emotional connection and have that time. That’s what we need in a Fantasy Suite.”
So, what prompted Twitter user @trashqueen19 to say,
“Watching Hannah lambast Luke P’s toxic misogynist gaslighting ass and not letting him speak was almost worth 10 long episodes of suffering through his bulls—.”
Perhaps the biggest shock of the night was the tense confrontation between Hannah and controversial frontrunner Luke P. Luke, a Christian who claims he’s been abstinent for four years and plans to wait until marriage to have sex again, made it clear that he has very strict rules for any woman who wants to be with him. Specifically: she has to be abstinent as well.
Hannah immediately confronted the blow-hard.
She continued, indicating that she wasn’t comfortable with Luke’s judgment of her. And then, Luke completely blew it.
“There have been so many times that I have wanted to say I am done with you, but my heart has just not allowed me to let you go. And I prayed so much for clarity and I feel like I have finally gotten clarity on you. And I do not want you to be my husband.”
As Luke drove away, Hannah flipped him off.
And after the show aired, she stuck to her guns in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“I never planned for it to be known by the world, but if you say it with a mic on then you’ve got to own it, and I’m going to own it. To the windmill, to the wall.”
As expected, the Twitterverse couldn’t stop tweeting about the drama packed episode, with former Bachelorette contestant Diggy Moreland tweeting
“Hannah: ‘Tyler, I’m not sure if I want to go in this fantasy suite with you where no one can see us.’ Most Women in America: ‘Give me two minutes with Tyler in a clear phone booth.'”
ET Live host Lauren Zima tweeted about how much she appreciated Tyler.
“Unfortunately, even when ‘i don’t want to have sex,’ is communicated, someone often still pushes to see if that can change. Tyler didn’t.”
Comedian Michelle Collins tweeted
“My fantasy suite with Jed would involve me slowly lowering blinds in front of his face while saying ‘goodbyeeeeeeeeeeeee.'”
And twitterati rafa b wrote
“Luke is the classic psychopath. His ‘I saw God’ moment was just him realizing he can control people by becoming a pseudo preacher. Everything he said to Hannah was about control, even his last words ‘can we pray together.'”
So sorry, Luke. Turns out your quest for a bride was, well…
