Footage shows police pinning the father-of-one to the ground before one officer drives his knee into his ribcage. Mr Boyson was charged with assaulting a police officer but was found not guilty after a trial at Wellingborough Magistrates Court, Northants, in January. The father says his treatment by police was ‘absolutely appalling’ and the case is now being investigated by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
